I was born and raised in Deep South Texas. My parents, co pastors at our local church, taught me to love and serve Jesus from a very young age. 

 

In school I was the quiet one, comfortable hiding behind others, but I knew God saw me and that I was called to live differently than what most young people my age were chasing after.  

 

After graduating high school, I attended Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX, where my faith in Christ grew deeper roots. After CFNI I returned home, served in the youth and worship ministry at my church, and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from The University of Texas Pan American. 

 

In 2014, I took a job as an art teacher and taught high school and middle school art for eight years. While working as a teacher I continued to serve my church, gave painting workshops at local churches on creating with God, and began a young women's ministry with some of my best friends. 

 

In December of 2021, at the age of 35 I married the love of my life, Matt. I moved to his town in Sterlington, LA where I now reside and serve at my local church, paint, and teach art at a local art studio.
